About Domvio
Domvio is a property management app for landlords and PG owners in India, built in Bengaluru by founder Giridhar Reddy. The whole rental runs on WhatsApp, from tenant invites and rent reminders to cash logging and PDF receipts, and rent is paid by UPI straight to the landlord. It handles any number of flats, houses, rooms and PG beds.
Why we are building Domvio
Most rented homes in India are owned by individuals, not companies, and most of them are still run on phone calls, WhatsApp messages, cash and handwritten receipts. Landlords chase the same tenants every month, and when there is a dispute there is no record to point to. Property management software built for large Western portfolios expects tenants to download an app and pay by card. Domvio starts from how Indian tenants already pay: UPI, on their phone, prompted by a WhatsApp message.
What we believe
- Your rent is your money. It goes straight from your tenant's UPI app to your UPI ID. Domvio never holds it and takes no commission.
- Tenants should not have to install anything. Reminders, payment links and receipts all arrive on WhatsApp.
- Every payment deserves a receipt. Records protect both the landlord and the tenant.
- We only describe features that exist today, and we mark anything planned as coming soon.
