Domvio at a glance

What Domvio does

• Runs the whole rental on WhatsApp: tenant invites, rent reminders, cash logging and PDF receipts. Tenants never install an app or create an account.
• Sends each tenant an automatic WhatsApp reminder three days before rent is due, with the exact amount and a UPI link.
• Logs cash payments with one tap, or one WhatsApp message such as "paid Ravi".
• Sends an official PDF receipt to the landlord and the tenant on WhatsApp for every confirmed payment, UPI or cash.
• Shows who has paid, who is pending and who is overdue on one dashboard. The WhatsApp bot answers "status", "remind all", "overdue" and "paid <name>".
• Handles any number of properties: flats, independent houses, rooms and PG beds (single, double or triple sharing).
• Keeps leases and KYC documents in one place, and takes maintenance requests from tenants with photos and a priority.

What Domvio does not do

• It does not hold or route rent. There is no payment gateway between tenant and landlord, so there is no gateway fee.
• It does not take card or net-banking payments. Rent is paid by UPI or in cash.
• It does not calculate or charge late fees.
• It has no attendance, in-time or visitor logs for PGs.
• It does not draft rent agreements, run police verification or screen tenants. Our free guides cover agreements and police verification as advice.
• It is software, not a property management service. Landlords stay in charge of their own tenants and rent.
• NRI mode for owners living abroad is not live yet. It is coming soon.

How rent payment works

   Reminder

   Three days before rent is due, the tenant gets a WhatsApp message with the exact amount and a UPI link.

2. 2

   Payment

   The tenant pays from Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or any bank app, straight to the landlord's own UPI ID.

3. 3

   Confirmation

   The tenant shares the payment confirmation and the landlord approves it with one tap.

4. 4

   Receipt

   Both sides get an official PDF receipt on WhatsApp, and the dashboard marks the rent as paid.

The money never passes through Domvio. Domvio takes no commission, and with no payment gateway in between, there is no gateway fee. See the rent collection app page for screenshots.

Pricing

Domvio is free during early access: no setup fee, no monthly charge and no credit card. Paid plans (Local Pro, NRI Essential and NRI Premium) are coming soon and have no prices yet.

The app

Landlords use Domvio today as an online app at app.domvio.in, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to install. Setup takes under three minutes: add a property, enter a UPI ID and invite tenants on WhatsApp. An Android app on the Play Store is coming soon; there is no date yet. Tenants never need an app.

NRI mode (coming soon)

Domvio is building an NRI mode for owners who live abroad and rent out property in India. It is not live yet. It will add sign-up with an international phone number, reminders timed for India, and co-access for a family member or caretaker, who will be able to see rent status and raise maintenance requests. Boilerplate

Domvio is a WhatsApp-first property management and rent collection app for landlords and PG owners in India. Tenants get rent reminders and PDF receipts on WhatsApp, and pay by UPI straight to the landlord, with no commission. Built in Bengaluru, it works across India and is free during early access.
