Save your UPI ID
Add the UPI ID you already use with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or your bank app. This is where your tenants' rent goes.
Add your property and invite your tenant
Enter the flat, house, room or PG bed, the monthly rent and the due date, then send your tenant a WhatsApp invite. Tenants never install an app or create an account.
Domvio sends the reminder

A rent receipt for every payment, even cash
Disputes usually start with cash. Months later, a tenant says they paid and you have nothing written down, or the other way round. Domvio sends an official PDF receipt to both of you on WhatsApp for every payment you confirm, whether it came by UPI or in cash. When a tenant hands you cash, tap "Record cash" in the app or message the Domvio bot "paid" and their name.

Know who has paid without opening your bank app
The Domvio dashboard shows how much rent is collected, pending and overdue this month, and lists every tenant who needs your attention. You can send reminders, record cash and add a tenant from the same screen.
You do not even need to open the app. Message the Domvio WhatsApp bot:
- status for a summary of paid, pending and overdue rent
- overdue for the late tenants, with days and amounts outstanding
- remind all to send a reminder to everyone who has not paid
- paid Ravi to record Ravi's cash payment and send him a receipt
Your rent goes straight to your bank account
Domvio is not a payment gateway or a wallet. Your tenant pays from their UPI app to your UPI ID, exactly as if they paid you directly, so the money lands in your bank account at once. Domvio never touches, holds or delays your rent, and it takes no commission on it.
What if a tenant still does not pay?
Reminders cannot force payment, but records help
No app can make a tenant pay. What Domvio gives you is a clean record: the payments you confirmed, a receipt for each one, and reminders your tenant received on WhatsApp before each due date. If things go further, read what to do when a tenant is not paying rent before you act.
What Domvio does not do yet
We would rather you know now than find out later. Today, Domvio does not:
- Charge late fees or track partial payments
- Take card or net-banking payments. Rent is paid by UPI or in cash
- Match payments against your bank statement automatically. You approve each payment with one tap
