Rent receipt format in Marathi, free to print

In Marathi a rent receipt is a भाडे पावती. It should name the भाडेकरू (tenant) and घरमालक (landlord), give the flat's address, the amount, the months paid for, the payment mode and date, and carry the landlord's signature, plus the PAN above ₹1 lakh a year. Print one with the generator, or copy the format.
Marathi rent receipt generator
The generator opens in Marathi and prints a receipt for each month, with Marathi month names like एप्रिल and ऑक्टोबर. It uses Marathi words (भाडे, पावती, घरमालक), not the Hindi ones, and shows the English word beside each label.

Leave and licence and the word on the receipt
Most homes in Maharashtra are let on a leave and licence agreement, where the monthly payment is called a licence fee. On a receipt, भाडे is the word people understand. If you want it to match the agreement exactly, write "भाडे / लायसन्स फी" in the amount line. The agreement itself must be registered in Maharashtra; see stamp duty in Maharashtra.

Is a Marathi rent receipt accepted for HRA in Mumbai?
Tax rules do not set a language for rent receipts, and Marathi receipts are common in Maharashtra. If an employer outside the state asks for English, print the English version from the same generator.
Can the tenant write the receipt and the landlord just sign?
Yes. Who fills it in does not matter, as long as the details are correct and the landlord signs it.
