Rent reminder message in Telugu (అద్దె గుర్తు చేసే మెసేజ్)

In Telugu, a rent reminder begins with నమస్కారం and the tenant's name followed by గారు, then states the month, the rent and any maintenance charge, the due date and your UPI ID. Here are four Telugu templates for WhatsApp, from a gentle reminder to a final one, plus a thank-you once the rent arrives.
Writing to a tenant in Telugu
గారు (gaaru) after a name is the everyday mark of respect in Telugu, for a tenant of any age: "Suresh గారు". Use మీరు (meeru) for "you", not the familiar నువ్వు. In Hyderabad many tenants are from other states and speak Hindi or English at home, so check which language your tenant actually replies in before switching to Telugu. In Vijayawada, Guntur or Visakhapatnam, Telugu is usually the safe choice.

Polite Telugu reminder, with rent and maintenance shown apart
In many Hyderabad apartments the tenant pays the flat's maintenance to the owner along with the rent. Showing the two figures and the total stops the usual question, "is maintenance included?". If your rent already includes it, delete that part.

Firm Telugu reminder after a week
Once the rent is seven days late, the message should list the dates you already reminded the tenant and ask for a written commitment. Keep it calm. A short, factual message gets a reply more often than an angry one.

[పేరు] గారు, [నెల] నెల అద్దె ₹[మొత్తం] ఇంకా అందలేదు. ఇప్పటికే [సంఖ్య] రోజులు ఆలస్యమైంది. Stop typing the same reminder every month

Final Telugu reminder
This is the last message before you speak to a lawyer. It gives a firm date at least a week away and says the next step is legal advice, nothing more. Telugu thank-you when rent is paid
A quick thank-you on the day the money lands closes the month. Tenants who claim HRA will also want a receipt; the Telugu rent receipt format has one to copy or print.

Before you send a Telugu reminder
- Check the maintenance figure against the association's latest bill, so the reminder and the bill match.
- If water or electricity is metered per flat, send that bill as a photo with the reminder rather than typing the units.
- Message each tenant separately. Posting dues in the apartment WhatsApp group embarrasses people and rarely speeds up payment.
- Keep every reminder and reply in the chat. If you ever need a lawyer, the dated messages show what you asked for.

Frequently asked questions
How do I say "rent is due" in Telugu?
అద్దె చెల్లించాల్సిన సమయం వచ్చింది (adde chellinchaalsina samayam vacchindi), or simply "[నెల] అద్దె [తేదీ] లోపు చెల్లించండి" with the month and date filled in.
Should the maintenance charge be in the rent reminder?
If the tenant pays it to you, yes. List rent and maintenance on separate lines with the total, so nobody argues later about what the amount covered.
